I have had several dedicated servers with SteadCom over the past 18 months. Service - The service being provided is second to none. The network is stable and the hardware in the servers is really top notch. One of my servers has an uptime of 500+ days! In conclusion, SteadCom really have something special going here. I've only had the pleasure of using their dedicated servers but if this is anything to go by I'm sure their other services (shared hosting, VPS servers and web development) are also of a high standard. I have been with Steadcom for over a year now. Their customer support is excellent. They always respond to my tickets quickly. Rarely do I have to wait an hour before someone will get back to me. I have an unmanaged Vps and they have answered many of my questions and kept me up and running in a solid manner. I went through one hard drive failure with them, but they were on top of it and kept me informed of what was going on the whole time. SteadCom VPS services are very fast and reliable. The performance and level of support received for the price is mind boggling. Tickets are answered very fast, usually within 5 minutes. But you rarely need to file one, because the service is rock solid. The staff at SteadCom treat you as a valued customer, not just another source of income. They go out of their way to make you feel important. In fact, at times you feel like they are dedicated just to you. I have rarely had any problems with my SteadCom VPS, but when I have the problem was resolved in less than 30 minutes. Aside from the excellent support, the servers are extremely fast, and SteadCom's VPS system offers alot of features not found elsewhere, such as the ability to access the console of your VPS, force reboot in the rare event it crashes, or even re-install the operating system. All these things you can do yourself without even having to open a ticket. SteadCom was also very helpful in transfering my website from my existing host to my SteadCom VPS. If you need a good service with an affordable price, SteadCom is perfect for you. I have 2 VPS with them since June [2008] and I'm glad with SteadCom services. The servers are solid, and they are in a stable network, they take seriously the 99.99% Network Uptime SLA. And to complete the package, the support team is very fast, answering tickets in about 10 minutes. Plus, they treat you like a real costumer, not like an unknown person. It has always been a pleasure to do business with SteadCom. Someone told me via Twitter that my site was down (www.patmaddox.com). I checked it out and it was a PHP out of memory error. I emailed Steadcom support at 11:26. Got a response from Andrew, a Europe-based tech support guy, at 11:44 saying he was working on it. Got another reply at 13:40 saying the issue was fixed. Not bad for $5/mo. Thanks Steadcom.
